Cuban singer Erich Concepción, who has lived in Miami, Florida for years, used his social networks to confirm that he was attacked with a knife after an argument with an unidentified assailant.
Through a publication shared this Tuesday, the member of the group Quarta Prodigia decided to confirm what happened, since his situation had already begun to be reported by the media.
“Attention! I am going to give the official news, given that it has reached the media and even television has contacted me. I understand that when one has a public life it is very difficult to keep everything private regarding events around the person in question,” the singer began the publication.
According to the complaint, the events occurred during the early hours of Tuesday, May 7, when Concepción was stabbed twice, once in the leg and once in the hand, while trying to defend himself.
“I was attacked with a knife, which resulted in 2 stab wounds. One in the left leg and another in the hand, with which I prevented it from hitting me in the chest,” he explained.
The Cuban points out that he was hit by this person, so now he can’t walk very well.
“In addition, I was hit severely on my hip, which prevents me from walking well and I am in great pain. “The wound on the leg was deep and there was great blood loss.”
When talking about the identity of his attacker, the singer stated that he could not reveal it due to legal reasons, since everything seems that Concepción is preparing to take action against him.
“For legal reasons, I am not going to say the name of the person or the place yet, but it will be known when it can legally be said.”
The singer explained that this person had attacked him after refusing to share personal information about other individuals with whom the attacker would have problems.
“The reasons were: Refusing to give telephone numbers and addresses of several people who had personal problems with the aggressor and he wanted me to provide him with said information.”
According to the victim, after refusing to give this information, the subject kicked him to the ground with a kick to the chest and proceeded to attack him while he was down.
The singer affirms that the attack could have been worse, but he was lucky to have friends who intervened, “preventing a misfortune.”
