A young Cuban woman named who lives in Miami was reunited with her family after almost two years without seeing them, causing a stir among her compatriots online.
Through her TikTok profile, the user identified as Yolanda shared a video in which she is seen arriving with her family on the Island, after 1 year and 8 months of not having seen them.
The video shows the Cuban from her departure from the airport, carrying her suitcases, until she gets on the plane and her subsequent arrival home.
After a painting where the wing is seen through the window, she is seen entering where a child receives her, running towards her and jumping into her arms, to melt into a heartfelt hug where they both shed tears.
“Back home after a year and eight months of only seeing them behind a screen,” Yolanda wrote as a description of the video.
In the images you can also see the young woman’s mother, who still runs towards her and waits for the little boy to finish hugging her. The whole family looks happy and visibly excited to see her.
