Cuban rafters manage to reach Florida in a precarious boat

A group of Cuban rafters managed to reach Florida this Thursday, July 14, in a precarious homemade boat powered by a sail.

In the images broadcast on social networks by the Cuban journalist Mario J. Pentón, you can see the boat in which the Antilleans traveled.

“A group of Cuban rafters just arrived at Denia Beach in South Florida. From there they send me these images,” the communicator wrote in a Facebook post.

At the moment, details are unknown about the number of Cuban rafters who traveled in the boat that can be seen in the photographs, nor about the state in which these migrants made landfall.

The desperation of Cubans to flee the island is becoming more and more evident.
