The first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party and president of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, visits this Friday the Havana neighborhood of La Timba, municipality of Plaza de la Revolución, accompanied by the secretaries of the PCC in the provinces and the municipality special Isla de la Juventud, with the aim of sharing experiences on the resuscitation of vulnerable settlements in the capital.
The Cuban president has been seen walking the streets, greeting and listening to the people, in a visit in which he appreciates the progress of the comprehensive plan to transform the neighborhoods in that neighborhood.

“La Timba is pure bustle, all its spaces are revived, its inhabitants do and are grateful,” published the Presidency on his Twitter account.
A tweet from the journalist Angélica Paredes states that Díaz-Canel “travels through La Timba, a Havana neighborhood that is reviving itself. People greet him and he appreciates the support and resistance in such difficult times. It is not just a slogan, it is the certainty that more and more hearts are being given to Cuba ”.
