Cuban plastic artist exposes the faces of love (+Photos) – Prensa Latina

It is about the first love, that of academic studies, that of sculpture, Diago told Prensa Latina.

That is the objective of this exhibition, to present that forbidden love, it was a debt to myself, added the artist.

The space was chosen by Diago at the Rum Museum, regarding the 30th anniversary of Havana Club Internaconal SA, a site closely linked to Cuban art and contemporary culture.

Three decades after the first exhibitions were shown in the museum, the artist decides to show the original faces drawn from his academic training, which is sculpture.

Many know me for painting, but I trained as a sculptor and this is the result of that love, like a return to my roots, he commented.

With the personal exhibition “30 years, 30 faces”, Diago reveals a new stage in his artistic work through expensive miniatures, even the most monumental features and, at the same time, with a diversity of materials that give richness to the figure .
