A Cuban went to social networks to report an outrageous event, stating that his cousin died in the middle of a blackout and his body went almost 20 hours without being collected, this despite the fact that the family notified the authorities about what happened.
According to the publication shared by Internet user Rolando Fernández in the Facebook group ‘Denouncing crimes in Cuba’, his cousin lost his life around 7:00 pm on Monday, March 11, but his body remained inside his house until shortly after. more than noon on Tuesday the 12th.
“This is a cousin of mine, he doesn’t look very good because they turned off the power, he died there from 6:30 to 7:00 at night. It’s still the time it is, it’s going to strike 12 noon and no one from the Cuban government has shown up here,” Fernández indicated in the video.
The images show the body of the lifeless relative in a bed, while it is illuminated only by a small candle placed on a nearby chair.
“The Cuban Government prides itself on saying that it has Human Rights above other countries, but here, Human Rights, none. There is no humanity here,” he adds.
In this sense, he indicated that the cause of death is unknown, since the authorities had not arrived at the scene to carry out the investigations that are normally carried out in such cases.
“No one has made any arrangements, no one cares about anything. The experts do not appear to determine what caused the death, and no one cares.”
The complainant shared what happened so that the case receives the attention it deserves, because, according to him, the regime does not care about what happened, and the only ones who were doing everything possible to give the body the Holy Burial were his relatives. and his friends who were outside the house in the middle of the blackout.
The man made it clear that the video was directed at the island’s leaders, who are supposed to deal with the country’s problems, although he did not raise much hope, stating that the island’s main problem was the designated president Miguel Diaz-Canel.
