A Cuban boy made an impact with his great talent during his participation in the popular reality show The voice Kidsin its Spain edition, where the judges and the public have fallen in love.
With a special combination of charisma and musical gifts, Álvaro Tadeo, only 13 years old, has shown a presence on stage that impressed the coaches of the famous reality show.
This is how this Saturday, June 10, Álvaro managed to advance to the next round, now until the “assault” phase that will take place on June 17.
The boy is part of the team of the Spanish singer Aitana, who had the difficult task of choosing between him and two other members of her teamwho faced off in a battle interpreting the complicated theme Your Songby legendary British musician Elton John.
“Having moved on to the ‘battles’ means a lot to me and my family. (…) It is a great step in my musical career and a great personal achievement”, Tadeo explained to the media.
Tadeo had already been news for impressing the Coaches in his first appearanceduring the round of “blind auditions”, when she played The way you look tonightby Frank Sinatra.
On that occasion, Álvaro managed to get Aitana and Rosario Flores to turn their chairs around, making them available to have him on their team, after which he chose the first to be his coach.
One of the qualities that has made the Cuban stand out is the seriousness and presence with which he interprets mature songs, with a voice that is also, in itself, worthy of applause.
“I don’t think there is a voice like Álvaro in this program. It is different, but different with quality. (…) Congratulations, my brother”, declared the Spanish singer David Bisbal, one of the coaches of this year’s edition.
“The voice he has is spectacular. Álvaro seems to me that it is a record when he sings, that it is equalized. (…) I don’t believe that you are the one who is singing”, joked Rosario, daughter of the folkloric Lola Flores.
After the triumph this Saturday, June 10, Álvaro Tadeo will compete next week in the round of “assaults”, thus placing himself one step away from the semifinals.
In this edition, another Cuban boy, Miguel Sánchez, 11, also passed the first round towards the “battles” stage, but unfortunately he did not get Bisbal’s pass to the next phase, having been eliminated this week.
