Cuban asks for help to locate two of his brothers in Russia – 2024-04-17 21:06:12

An Internet user identified as Saimel Gómez went to social networks to ask for help by finding two of his half-brothers who currently reside in Russia.

The man indicated that he is looking for a woman and a man identified as Ielena Gómez Irianov and Pablo Gómez Irianov. Likewise, he indicated that they are in Leningrad or Saint Petersburg, but that he does not know where they may currently be.

“I need to locate my brothers in Russia. The male is called Pablo Gómez Irianov, and the female is Ielena Gómez Irianova, her last address is Leningrad or Saint Petersburg,” the post begins.

In his publication, shared in the group “Cubans in Moscow,” Gómez points out that it is important that he find these people because his father is sick and he fears that it could be the last opportunity they have to say goodbye to him.

The user indicated that the old man, whose identity was not revealed, has not heard from his children since 1988, and that he would be happy to know that they are well before he dies.

“It is urgent, because my father, who is also your father, is old and sick here in Cuba, and has not seen them since 1988. I would like him to see them or know about them before he dies, here I am sending you a photo of the man, well I don’t have the female, greetings and thanks,” the publication ends.

At the moment, Gómez does not have more information to locate the pair in Russian territory, so he has requested the help of the Antillean community in Russia in the hope that one of them can point him in the right direction.

He explained that his father was last in Russia in 1988, when his brothers were between 11 and 12 years old.

Among the comments, several Internet users were curious about the case, recommending that they go to the Cuban Red Cross, where they have a program that focuses on reestablishing contact with relatives abroad.

“Go to the Cuban Red Cross, there is an RCF program or Restoration of Contact with Family Members. Make sure you bring their address and if you happen to have a phone number as well. I’m sure you can find them,” said user Iliana Santiesteban.
