A Cuban mother residing in Miami, identified as María Magdalena Fleites Martínez, is asking for help to find a son of hers whom she has not seen in 32 years.
According to the information, shared on social networks by the Cuban influencer Niover Licea, the Cuban woman’s son is called Ernesto González Fleites, and he should be about 50 years old. He was born on October 8, 1973 in the city of Santa Clara.
The mother explained that he was taken away from him when he was three days old, and that, since then, she knew about him during his childhood, but this was no longer the case.
“They took him away from me when he was three days old. He is Jimagua with my other son named Karel Pérez Fleites. I have known about him while he was little and I stopped hearing from him when he finished high school, after that I never heard from him again,” he indicated.
The woman never stopped wanting to contact her son, but this desire has become stronger in recent years, so she is now asking for help to find him.
While she does not know what happened to his life, the woman claims to have learned that he studied something related to Medicine, and that there was a possibility that he was in Florida.
“I would like to meet him again to find out what he has done in his life. I had a slight information that he had studied Medicine. I imagine he will be here in Miami, I want to see if I can find him,” Magdalena added.
The woman, now advanced in age, has had the help of a friend to help her make her case visible on social networks.
Cubans ask for help to find their relatives
The woman has not been the only Cuban to request help finding a loved one through social networks, as this is a powerful tool to contact people throughout the globe.
Recently, A young man identified as Saimel Gómez asked for help to locate two half-brothers who have lived in Russia for several decades.this because his father is ill and he fears that it will be the last opportunity he will have to see them since he lost contact in 1988.
The same way, A man residing in the Dominican Republic went to the networks to ask for help, finding two of his half-brothers in Cuba. He has never spoken to them, but he knows of their existence.
The man said he was the son of Roberto Hernández Matos, who was originally from eastern Cuba and who died in 1986, when he was only one year old.
“I am looking for the family of this man, his name was Roberto Hernández Matos, he died in Miami on January 25, 1986, son of Máximo and Asunción. He was born on September 15, 1935 and was a native of Oriente, Cuba,” he wrote in several groups related to the province of Holguín.
