Miami-Dade County authorities arrested a young man of Cuban origin accused of multiple charges, including committing several robberies and fleeing two traffic accidents he caused while driving without a license.
The detainee was identified as Jhon Danel Carbonell Torres, who now faces ten charges against him, which are divided into four different cases: two serious ones that he had pending for car theft in 2023, and two other new cases due to his most recent actions. .
The arrest took place last Friday, March 29, and the young man appeared in court the next day.
In his first hearing, the Cuban was charged with two counts of leaving the scene of an accident caused by him that caused damage to property, one count of driving erratically and another of driving without a license.
During a second appearance in which the most serious crimes pending against him were discussed, the young man was charged with grand theft, grand theft of a vehicle, resisting an officer without violence, armed robbery of an unoccupied conveyance and grand theft of a weapon.
