Algiers, August 17, 2024. As part of his working visit to the Wilaya (province) of Djelfa, the Cuban Ambassador visited the city’s emblematic Ophthalmological Hospital, the first of its kind inaugurated in 2008 in this North African country, the result of collaboration between Cuba and Algeria, which provides free services to the population and where more than 90 employees work.
During the working visit, they also spoke with our professionals, with whom they confirmed the unity and dedication with which they work even in difficult conditions, in terms of customs, harsh climate and different language. However, no obstacle prevents obtaining satisfactory results that demonstrate the dedication of this group.
