Cuban actress Giselle González fulfills her dream of working in a prestigious theater in Washington DC

It was in February when Cuban actress Giselle González, who had just arrived in the United States, visited the prestigious GALA theater in Washington DC as a spectator and planned to “get on stage” as her next step. In her post, Giselle González, also remembered for hosting the youth program Conexión alongside Alejandro Socorro, appears posing happily in front of the theater entrance with her script in hand. “The first time I enjoyed one of her pieces, I felt such a special feeling that I said to myself ‘one day I will step on that stage’. Some time later, I will tell you about it here,” she added.

The actress, who recently visited Miami to reconnect with her expatriate colleagues, will premiere in September a play that she described as “incredible,” written by Venezuelan playwright and novelist Gustavo Alfonso Ott Ramírez.

Regarding Ott, the Cuban said that he is an author whom she deeply admires and appreciates. “I share the stage with a great cast that I will be introducing to you later, under the direction of José Zayas and the support of the wonderful production team and specialists of the project,” she said.

“Yess …
