Cuba obtained its first medal this Saturday at the VII Parapan American Games Santiago 2023 through the swimmer Yosjaniel Hernandezwho finished third in the 200 meter medley, SM7 category.
The Antillean completed the distance in 2:51.82 minutes, and was surpassed by the Colombian Carlos Serrano and the Argentine Inaki Basiloff. Serrano set the Parapan American record with a time of 2:31.64 minutes, while Basiloff took silver with 2:32.01.
