Cuan..Cuan! How Much is the Dividend of 5 Lo Kheng Hong Collection Shares?

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – One of the issuers whose shares are owned by the most successful investor in the Indonesian capital market, Lo Kheng Hong, has just officially announced the amount of dividends to be distributed to shareholders.

Yes, PT Gajah Tunggal Tbk (GJTL) will soon pay a cash dividend of Rp 3.48 billion.

Lo Kheng Hong as a shareholder will certainly get a share, but what about other issuers who are also collected by investors who are dubbed the Warren Buffett of Indonesia?

Currently, LKH has shares in five issuers (equivalent to or above 5%) namely PT Clipan Finance Indonesia Tbk (CFIN). finance from the Panin Group, then shares in the GJTL tire factory and shares in the MNC Group media issuer PT Global Mediacom Tbk (BMTR).

LKH also holds shares in logistics and shipping listed company PT Mitrabahtera Segara Sejati Tbk (MBSS), and mining issuer PT Petrosea Tbk (PTRO), both of which belong to the Indika Energy Group.

CFIN

Throughout 2020, this consumer finance issuer belonging to the Panin Group experienced a decline in performance, one of which was of course due to the pandemic outbreak due to the viciousness of the Covid-19 virus.

Even though revenue fell by almost two-thirds or around 66 percent to Rp 57.47 billion from the previous Rp 170.05 billion, this issuer was still able to make a net profit.

The company’s net profit was recorded at Rp 46.56 billion, down 87% from 2019 when the company earned a net profit of Rp 361.59 billion.

Economic conditions that have not yet recovered and the performance of profits that are still depressed have made CFIN shareholders through the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) decided not to distribute dividends and use a small portion of net profit as reserve funds and the rest to be placed as retained earnings.for the purposes of investment and working capital of the Company.

Until the end of July 2021, LKH was recorded to hold 205.57 million CFIN shares or equivalent to 5.16% ownership. So LKH does not get dividends from these shares.

GJTL

The issuer of this tire manufacturer decided to distribute cash dividendsfor the 2020 financial year period, Rp. 34.84 billion against 3.48 million shares issued by the company or equivalent to Rp 10 per share.

Approved at the AGMS, the amount of cash dividends to be distributed is equivalent to approximately 10.87% of Gajah Tunggal’s total net profit throughout 2020 which reached Rp 320.37 billion.

Lo Kheng Hong is listed as one of the shareholders of GJTL, controlling 5.10% or 177,712,400 units. This means that it is estimated that Lo Kheng Hong will receive Rp 1.77 billion from the dividends paid by GJTL starting September 17, 2021, according to the cash dividend payment schedule.
