A new edition of the Shanghai Rolex Masters will be held between October 2 and 13, in that city in China. This competition belongs to the ATP circuit with the Masters 1000 category, and is played on the hard courts of the Qizhong Forest Sports City Arena.

The men’s circuit arrives once again in Shanghai, to celebrate a new edition of its classic tournament, being held again after its return last year, post coronavirus crisis, and in this intense tour of China after the US Open. This competition has taken place since 2009, and since then the domain has been distributed in a few hands, with four titles from Novak Djokovic, three from Andy Murray, two from Roger Federer and one from Nikolay Davydenko, in addition to that of Daniil Medvedev in 2019. The Reigning defending champion, Hubert Hurkacz, had to leave due to injury.
An almost complete grid among the participants, with Jannik Sinner top seed, followed by Alexander Zverevby Carlos Alcaraz and for Novak Djokovic to close the batch of the four main candidates for the title in China.
