Agrometal is a popular label for the production of untalented metal/rock bands from the countryside who repeat musical clichés and sing mostly stupid lyrics. The story of director Karel Janák takes place in the fictional village of Čertice.

The main character Lukyn (Lukáš Příkazký) can’t do anything, but he decides to break into the music industry.

“The character I play is in trouble because he misses his wedding anniversary. He then sees a poster at the gas station that informs about a competition of amateur bands. The main attraction, however, is that the winner of the competition gets a motorcycle. “It seems like a brilliant idea to Lukyn and he thinks that a possible win would iron out the problems with his wife,” the actor described.

“Working on this series is a great joy, and not only because the director is my husband Karel Janák. We have a super funny script and a great cast. The audience definitely has something to look forward to,” says the producer of the series, Romana Goščíková, who will also play one of the comedic characters.

“I would like the audience to enjoy this series. My task was to reach a wide audience so that everyone could find something for themselves there, and I very much hope that we will succeed,” added Janák.
