CSKA Stronger Than Zenit, Says Vladimir Ponomarev

Vladimir Ponomarev considers CSKA a stronger team than Zenit.

– All our lines are even better than in Zenit. Petersburgers get a lot of help, that’s why the gap is so big. The army team would claim the first place for sure, but the second place will be ours.

– Can anyone compete with CSKA in the fight for silver?

– Spartak and Rostov can do it if CSKA relaxes. In no case should you relax, because the next round is a derby. It will be difficult at the Spartak stadium, but CSKA can take away a draw. The army team has the best defense in the league,” said the ex-defender of the USSR and CSKA teams.
