CSKA have signed 26-year-old Belgian center forward Aaron Iseka from Greek OFI Crete. The player started his career in the most successful Belgian football club in Europe – Anderlecht.
His sports career goes through the French League 1, where he recorded 79 matches with the teams of Olympique Marseille, Toulouse and Metz. Iseka was also part of the teams of Barnsley, Adanaspor, Tuzlaspor and Apoel Hadera. He took part in 16 matches for the youth national team of Belgium.
“Hello CSKA fans! This is Aaron Iseka. I just arrived in Sofia. I’m happy to be here. I am curious to see how fervently you will support us in the stadium. I want to see you soon and do a lot of good things for the club. And to score a lot of goals”, were Iseka’s first words as a striker for the “Reds”.
This is the fourth new player who has arrived at the capital city after Aleksandar Tomas was appointed at the head of the team. In the last hours, CSKA announced that Ilian Iliev, James Eto’o, Zyumbyur Butucci, and now Aaron Leia Iseka are joining them. Before that, the “Reds” made several more transfers in the course of the summer.
Interestingly, Aaron Iseka is the brother of Belgian star Michy Batshuayi.
