According to the complaint presented by the prosecution, the magistrates could have incurred abuse of authority and breach of duties by endorsing the registration proposed by the Cambio party so that Baldizón would reach the legislature, since he did not meet the suitability requirement after having purged conviction in the United States for the crime of conspiracy to launder money.
Although the decision was later revoked by the full TSE, the prosecution alleges that the crime was also completed, which is why they see it necessary to carry out the investigation against the aforementioned magistrates.
