CSIRT KNF warns against false advertising. Electricity prices in the background

Let the one who would not like to pay 70% less for electricity cast the first stone. Unfortunately, wanting does not always mean being able to any such offers are an obvious scam. Not everyone sees it right away, which is why scammers keep bombarding us advertisements about ways to reduce electricity prices.

According to CSIRT KNF, fraudsters have launched a new one advertising campaign on social media. Recently, their content often revolves around the topic of electricity prices, promising lower bills and even earning money. These are obvious fraud attempts. In addition, CSIRT KNF provided data on fraudulent investments. The most common subject of fraud is still the Baltic Pipe. In September alone, 662 fake ads and 4,210 fake domains were reported.
