Yesterday, the Old Salem Farm, located in New York State, hosted a Grand Prix at 1.55m, endowed with 125,000 dollars. On the course of sixteen efforts imagined by Alan Wade, the Irish Jonathan Corrigan and Jordan Coyle were the first to sign a faultless course.
Only nine runners completed the initial round without putting down a bar. In the jump-off, it was finally Jordan Coyle who set the fastest time of 34.99, thus winning the event with Celtic Park LLC’s Centriko Volo (OS, Centadel x Chacco-Blue). “I didn’t think my stopwatch would be enough to win, but I’m lucky that Centriko is very fast,” reacted the winner. “He doesn’t look very fast, but the way he jumps makes him fast. He only jumps a few millimeters higher than the bar and therefore wastes no time in the air. […] His greatest quality is his respect”.
The rest of the podium was completed by Colombian Mark Bluman with Marilyn (OS, Messenger x Lancer III), whose cousin Daniel stood on the podium of the Windsor 5* Grand Prix on the same day, and American Heather Caristo- Williams with Marciano MVF (ZANG, Stakkato x Libero H). No tricolor took part in this CSI 3*.
