Average online play in CS2 has decreased by a third since release. The data is available on the Steam Charts website.
In September, while CS:GO was still available, the average number of players per day was 976 thousand. In November, this figure dropped to 714 thousand. If we take the last 30 days, then at the time of publication of the news online went up again, but its growth was insignificant – 0.31% compared to November figures.
The release of Counter-Strike 2 took place on the night of September 28th. The game became available to all users for free and completely replaced CS:GO. The latest patch for CS2 at the time of publication of the news was released on the night of December 1st. The developers have fixed a number of bugs and errors, as well as improved animations and made many minor changes to the maps.
