Before Ruza Ignatova was lost, her best friend Asdis Run was always by her side. She is the person he used to spend his free time with. The two met even before the launch of OneCoin and planned a joint business project.
In front of “24 hours – 168 stories”, Asdis tells details about the relationship between them, as well as what Ignatova’s behavior was before October 25, 2017.
– Asdis, when and how did you meet Ruzha Ignatova?
– She and I met for the first time around 2009. The occasion was a party for the magazine “Attica media”. I was there with my husband. During the celebration she approached us and we started talking. I was visiting Bulgaria for the first time and was quite new to your country so to speak. I didn’t know many people. Shortly after meeting her, we became friends. Months later best friends. You launched OneCoin much later, around 2015.
– What impression did you have on her after your first conversation?
– Ruza seemed like a very energetic, funny and extremely intelligent woman. Soon after we met, we started planning a joint business: our company, which would deal with the production of cosmetics and also with the creation of clothing.
– How did you spend your time together?
– We were extremely close and therefore we did everything together. We both loved to travel. In the winter we enjoyed the beauty of the white mountains and in the summer the blue sea. We always went out to dinner and drank wine. We also spent our time in spa treatments. In the morning at 6:00 we went for a run in the park. We also had to visit the gym to train. She was very fond of shopping. Everything the two of us have done is no different from the normal things other girls and women indulge in when they are in the same company. Ruza also liked going to the piano bar. I remember having a lot of fun in these places.
– Did he tell you about his future plans in his business?
– Yes, he had very big ideas and dreams, which he talked about during our friendship. I could tell that she worked constantly, even 24/7. Everything that happened to her was the result of hard work, tears and the desire for great things without limits. She loved what she was doing and she definitely wanted to create great things in her life. She had a spatial ambition. I describe her as a very intelligent woman with business acumen. As for the OneCoin company, I have been there since its inception. I made sure her plan wasn’t to commit a worldwide fraud. She wanted to create the best cryptocurrency in the world, better than Bitcoin. Success came too fast and unfortunately she couldn’t keep it in her hands.
