Britain is not the only country where Binance is being watched. India is investigating the trading of WazirX, a crypto exchange that is part of Binance, because money may have been laundered by converting it into crypto coins. Binance is also under fire in countries such as the United States and Germany.

The American judiciary is also looking into money laundering and other tax offenses. The German financial regulator warned Binance in April that it was offering digital currencies without having prepared a prospectus for investors.
