Cruz Azul beats Santos in Liga MX Femenil

Cruz Azul needed just half an hour to get on track for their third win in the Liga MX Femenil. With three goals in the first half, Santos was a victim of the speed with which La Máquina decided the match. The capital team won 4-1 in the end with a double from Ximena Ríos.

The win allows them to reach 10 points. The Coahuila team, on the other hand, will remain stuck at the bottom of the table; they only have one point.

At home, the Celestes were looking to break a two-match winless streak.

After a promising start in which they had even placed themselves at the top of the table, the Cruzazulinas began to fade away.
