Paradox Interactive revealed this Tuesday, 6, the 2024 plans for Crusader Kings III, his grand strategy game set in the medieval era. With the arrival of Chapter III, the game will receive two expansions, including a Byzantine-themed expansion, as well as an event pack and a cosmetic clothing complement, available for immediate download to everyone who purchases the Expansion Pass. The first new feature of the year will arrive on March 4th, with Legends of the Dead, a new central expansion. Check out the trailer!

War, illness, and scheming relatives can bring even the most illustrious rulers to their end. How will you ensure that your fame and reputation survive after you are gone? Nothing enhances the glory of a royal house like the fame of its ancestors, so it may be wise to invest in the future by singing about its past. In Legends of the Dead, ensure that the stories of your great exploits live on after you have departed this mortal world through propaganda perpetuated by chroniclers and troubadours. Rule from Constantinople through a new form of Administrative Government and experience various Byzantine themed events and flavors. Or, if you prefer, live a daring life where your noble reputation isn’t tied to the land, roaming the map as an adventurer for hire.
- Wandering Nobles: Complementing the travel system introduced with Tours & Tournaments, this event pack introduces a new Travel Lifestyle and new ways and reasons to travel – incidents and stories related to wandering far from the safety of your court.
- Couture of the Capets: Uncover a world of opulence with Couture of the Capets. This cosmetic pack, available immediately after purchasing Chapter III, introduces new fashions and styles inspired by French royal culture in the High Middle Ages (13th century).
