The port of A Coruña received the ship MSC Meraviglia, from the company MSC Cruises, for the first time this Saturday morning. During the stopover, representatives of the municipal and port authorities attended the delivery of metopes, together with Raffaele Pontecorvo, captain of MSC Meraviglia, and Fernando Pacheco, general director of MSC Cruises in Spain.
With more than 300 meters in length and a capacity for 5,700 passengers, the MSC Meraviglia entered service in 2017 and is the first ship in the Meraviglia class.
Fernando Pacheco has guaranteed during the act the “firm” commitment of the company with the port of A Coruña, a city that the passengers of the ship will have the opportunity to know.
The MSC Meraviglia, coming from the North Sea, left in the afternoon from A Coruña in the direction of Lisbon, to then go to Gibraltar, Valencia, Marseille and Genoa. Starting in October, MSC Meraviglia will sail the Mediterranean Sea with different calls.
