This new route also marks the introduction of Seattle as MSC Cruises’ new US homeport – it will be its fifth. Seattle is the perfect place to travel to Alaska, and excellent international flight connections make the city easily accessible to guests from all over the world.”
Not only are the cruise destinations unique, exciting shore excursions are also offered with something for every guest. From adventure to culture to local cuisine. Be it an exploration of remote wilderness, a ride on the largest zipline in the world or a whale watching tour, every guest should find something for themselves on offer.
The shipping company expects the weekly cruise to be a great success. As Onorato explains: “We know that our European guests in particular are eagerly awaiting the opportunity to travel to Alaska with us.” No wonder, as the region is popular with its breathtaking landscape, wildlife and culture of Alaska’s indigenous people .
Panama Canal: A Man-Made Miracle
