Investing.com – rose during the European session on Friday.
According to the New York Mercantile Exchange, October was trading at USD84.65 per barrel at time of writing, up by 1.22%.
It was previously trading at a session high of USD85.17 per barrel. It may find support at USD79.34 and resistance at USD85.17.
which measures the performance of the US currency against a basket of six other major currencies, fell by 0.17% to trade at USD103.41.
Meanwhile on Nymex, the November price rose by 0.99% to trade at USD87.69 per barrel, while the spread between contracts stood at USD3.04 per barrel.
