For the first of five finals for relegation, the U15s of Viktoria are expecting TSV 1860 Munich. For the Aschaffenburg U18s, it’s about staying up in the league against a direct competitor in Coburg. The U17s want to make up for last weekend’s slip-up in Bamberg.

U 15 Bayernliga North: Viktoria Aschaffenburg II (6th place/22 points) – ATSV Erlangen (3rd/29). – Sunday, 11 a.m. – With five games remaining, Viktoria is eight points ahead of the first non-relegation zone. Erlangen won the first leg 1-0. Since the Aschaffenburg U14 will release some players to the U15, the squad for the home game is still unclear. “Our goal is three points to close the sack for relegation. A physically robust opponent awaits us, «says coach Michael Ullrich.
U15 Regionalliga Bayern: Viktoria Aschaffenburg (10th/20th) – TSV 1860 Munich (3rd/26th). – Saturday, 1 p.m. – The last two defeats have put Aschaffenburg on a relegation zone – level on points with Regensburg, who still have a catch-up game to play. Würzburg and Bayreuth are at the bottom of the table. Eight other teams are fighting for relegation, including 1860 Munich, who have only had one win so far in the second half of the season. Noah Griezmann is missing against the Löwen due to vacation, Maximilian Schmidt-Tudl is questionable due to injury. “We have to take something with us. Munich isn’t as solid as it was in the preliminary round,” says coach Frank Brunn.

U17 regional league Bavaria North: FC Eintracht Bamberg (4th/40) – SV Viktoria Aschaffenburg (1st/57). – Saturday, 4:30 p.m. – Despite the first defeat of the season, Aschaffenburg is comfortably at the top of the table with an eight-point lead over Mögelsdorf and ten points ahead of third-placed Regensburg – although Regensburg has two games less to their credit. In the first leg, Viktoria won 4-1. The use of Elia Umscheid is questionable due to groin problems, Samuel Beck is still out. “We won’t lose our heads because of a loss, but it wasn’t enough in the last couple of games. The opponents are highly motivated against us and we have to go back into duels to win them,” says coach Mario Schacht.
U19 Bayernliga: Viktoria Aschaffenburg (5th/36) – FC Stätzling (12th/25). – Sunday, 1.30 p.m. – Stätzling is two points ahead of a relegation zone, recently surprisingly won against third-placed Burghausen. The first leg ended 2:2. Aschaffenburg won the last two games. “We want to finally secure relegation against Stätzling and Weißenburg,” says coach Alexander Waimert.
U19-Landesliga Bayern Nord: FC Coburg (10th/25th) Viktoria Aschaffenburg II (9th/25th). – Saturday, 12 p.m. – An impressive four-win streak has moved Aschaffenburg to a non-relegation zone. Coburg only got one point from the last three games. In the first leg there was a clear 4:0 for Viktoria. »We want to continue the series. I’m very happy with the development of the team. We’ve shown that we don’t belong at the bottom of the table,” says Joseph-Andrew Thompson, the new coach who has been in charge for two weeks.
Alzenauer U 19 badly decimated
U19 Hessenliga: TSG Wieseck (5th/28th) – FC Bayern Alzenau (13th/10th). – Sunday, 11 a.m. – After three wins and two defeats this year, Wieseck is in the middle of the field. TSG won the first leg 2-1. With eight games left, Alzenau is ten points behind Erlensee, which is in a non-relegation zone. “We keep playing football and try to win. Due to the Easter holidays, many players will be absent. We only had nine outfield players in training this week,” says coach Andreas Trageser.
