Crown Prince Haakon has received permission from Asker municipality to replace an old barn with a storage building for rent in Skaugum.
It is Skaugum Gård, a company owned by the crown prince, that has received the permit, writes The messenger.
In addition to the fact that permission has been given for the demolition of the old barn to build a new warehouse on the same site, approval has been given for the extension of the parking and turning area.
There were several objections to the building application towards the end of last year – but satisfactory adjustments have now been made. The municipal director writes, among other things, that the measure should be limited in scope so that as few ash trees as possible are affected.
