Some merchants talk about the shopping frenzy. The last few days are even record-breaking in terms of sales. On the third weekend of Advent, traders’ sales doubled compared to last year. People mainly buy clothes, shoes and toys. He also spends five percent more on food than last year. But the desire to soak up the Christmas atmosphere also drew a lot from the house.
And the fitness centers burst at the seams. “Since it is supposed to be closed again now, people want to start it, so they go to exercise as much as possible,” explained Věra Mikulcová, the owner of the fitness center in Jihlava.
Despite the fact that the markets are not there this year, it was busy in the Old Town Square.
