It is still too early to say whether the bustle on the first day has also led to more sales, the spokesperson says. At least 5 to 10 percent more was spent during the presale than last year.
Weather forecast favorable
The spokesperson is therefore hopeful that the amount of fireworks sold this year-end will exceed that of last year or perhaps go to a record. Which the weather forecast is favorable and the sale has begun on the weekend, the sale can push, he says.
The lighting of fireworks is only permitted between 31 December 18.00 hours and 1 January 02.00 hours 2020.
