The words of Guido Crosetto a Republic arrive in Parliament. And they push the Democratic Party to ask Giorgia Meloni to report to Parliament, to understand if there is a national security problem. It is the entire Dem delegation in the Anti-Mafia Commission that puts the request in black and white: “Today the new chapter of the ongoing institutional conflict has exceeded the limit. On RepublicMinister Crosetto would like to be heard by Copasir as he has more to say so that ‘others will keep quiet for a while’. The newspaper also reports another incredible statement from the minister who says he has ‘contested on more than one occasion the lack of information to the Defense which could also have created problems for national security’. A language that requires serious clarification and that raises questions to which, without naturally interfering with the ongoing investigations, urgent political answers need to be given.”

The MPs of the Democratic Party in the Anti-Mafia Commission are speaking, Walter Verini, Peppe Provenzano, Debora Serracchiani, Andrea Orlando, Vincenza Rando, Anthony Barbagallo, Franco Mirabelli, Valeria Valente. The Dems underline the ongoing clash in the executive, which involved Crosetto and Palazzo Chigi, pushing Alfredo Mantovano to reiterate the government’s confidence in Aise. “From the right to the government – they write again – after months of vague accusations of a conspiracy, there has been no exercise of responsibility. In a moment of dramatic geopolitical crisis – we read again – a clash between the two government figures and the institutional subjects who more than anyone else should guarantee our safety? We, in every forum, without obviously interfering with the investigations of the judiciary, ask for clarity on what has emerged so far in the Anti-Mafia: namely the extreme vulnerability of our cyber networks. and confidential databases, the possible existence of a market of confidential information, of which it is necessary to uncover any responsibility of executors and possible principals”.
As reported by RepublicCrosetto intends to be heard at Copasir, in order to further detail the meaning of his complaint. According to the members of the Democratic Party in Anti-Mafia, however, it would be better to bring the issue to the House and Senate as well. “Due to the seriousness of the facts and the political conflict that has emerged, we believe it is essential that the government with its Prime Minister Meloni report to Parliament on a delicate issue such as that of national security”. A request that aims to highlight the extent of the conflict in the executive.
