Penguins captain Sidney Crosby skated with his teammates on Saturday after missing the team’s final game.
Hit in the head by Rangers defenseman Jacob Trouba last Wednesday in Game 5 of the first-round series between the two teams, Crosby did not play Game 6. The Penguins lost those two games and the series is now tied at 3-3.
The other good news for the Penguins is that Crosby is accompanying the team to New York for the ultimate game, which will take place tomorrow.
Prior to being hit by Trouba, Crosby was on a stellar streak, having nine points in five games to lead the Penguins to a 3-1 lead.
Trouba has never been punished for his gesture.
