It has been an integral part of the scene since the 80s: Paul Hogan (84) enjoyed international fame as the lead actor in “Crocodile Dundee” in the film of the same name. Nowadays, things have become rather quiet about the former cinema hero, who has been living in Los Angeles for almost twenty years. But now a comeback: Last week he was seen on the red carpet at the “G’Day USA Arts Gala” in his adopted hometown. There, the actor made a fit impression despite his advanced age.

Crocodile Dundee star suffers from rare illness
This surprises fans because: Hogan last shocked in 2022 with the headline that he was suffering from retropertioneal fibrosis. This is a chronic disease of the posterior abdominal cavity, which manifests itself through muscle loss and drastic weight loss. The star is therefore being treated with strong medication and was even in a wheelchair at one point!

There were also some changes in his private life: in 2014 his wife left Linda Kozlowski (66), who played the female lead alongside him in the cult classic, is divorcing him. However, the two maintain a friendly relationship, not least because of their son.
