On the final matchday of the 2024 ELF season, the first International Game in ELF history will take place in Croatia. For the country, however, it is intended to serve the development and promotion of the sport.

Croatia is known for many things. With its beaches, cities and gastronomy, the country is primarily known as a tourist hotspot – but not so much for American football. But that doesn’t stop the league from expanding here and promoting the sport.
In a statement, the ELF a partnership with the Croatian American Football Association (CAFA) The aim of this partnership is to promote the development of American football in Croatia. Croatian players and coaches should be given the opportunity to benefit from the professional experience of the ELF. This cooperation is intended strengthen sport at all levelsby promoting young talent, sharing training resources and organising joint training camps and friendly matches.

The Hamburg Sea Devils will play the International Game together with the Madrid Bravos

This partnership will kick off with the International Game between the Hamburg Sea Devils and the Madrid Bravos on Saturday, August 24. This event will also include a friendly match between the Croatian teams Split Sea Wolves and Zagreb Patriots instead of.
