Details: The publication reports that twelve Mi-8MTV-1 and two Mi-8T helicopters were withdrawn from the Croatian Armed Forces.

It is noted that the markings are being removed from helicopters and repair and restoration work is being carried out on the basis of the aviation technical center in Velika Gorica.

The publication assumes that the equipment will be ready for transportation in about ten days. According to journalists, seven helicopters will be partially dismantled and delivered by land, and the remaining seven will fly to Poland.

The Croatian authorities have not officially confirmed the information about the sending of the Mi-8 to the publication, as the country’s government has classified military assistance to Ukraine as closed to public access.

Recall: In November, Jutarnji list reported that the Croatian government plans to transfer 14 Soviet Mi-8 helicopters of various modifications to Ukraine, hoping to receive more modern Black Hawks from the United States in return.
