This is shown by recent figures VG has obtained from the European Agency for Communicable Disease Control (ECDC).
Today, FHI also collects figures from the same source, to assess whether some countries have switched to red or orange infection levels and should receive quarantine requirements.
The popular holiday country Croatia, which today is green, has thus reached the orange level.
Also Värmland, Västra Götalands and Sweden’s two northernmost regions has in addition reached the orange level and is in danger of getting quarantine claims again from Monday, shows figures VG has obtained from the Swedish public health institute FHM.
Here you can see which travel requirements apply today. Press “expected” to see which regions and countries can turn orange / red and get quarantine requirements:
What do the different colors mean?
Green There is no requirement to have a negative test taken before you enter Norway or are quarantined. You must still fill in the entry registration form and test yourself at the border upon arrival. Those who live in green countries are exempt from the entry ban to Norway.
Orange Travelers from orange countries have the same rules as travelers from red countries. However, it may be relevant to introduce separate requirements for orange countries later.
Red It is limited who has the right to enter Norway. Those who have the right to enter Norway must have a negative test certificate before entry, fill in the entry registration form, test themselves at the border upon arrival, and they must be in the entry quarantine.
Dark red The same entry rules as red countries, but in addition, parts of the entry quarantine must be carried out at quarantine hotels.
Small Grandparents, boyfriends, etc. from these countries are exempted from the entry ban. Otherwise the same entry rules (quarantine, test, etc.) as red countries. The “expected” change in some purple countries states that they can turn green. This is because they statistically switch to a green level of infection, but countries outside the EU / EEA can never become green.
Other countries Same entry rules (quarantine hotel, test, etc.) as for dark red countries.

When do we get the fasit? On Friday we will know what the government has decided, and from Monday the new travel map will apply.
Can anything go green this week? No, it is only every other week that the government considers whether some countries or regions should be colored green. In odd-numbered weeks (such as now), they only consider whether some countries should have stricter requirements.
But wasn’t there another map today where the whole of Sweden is orange? Jo. ME makes a risk map of different regions in Europe . But it is something else, and has nothing to do with the Norwegian entry requirements and the travel map. The European Infection Control Agency (ECDC), for example, divides Sweden into larger regions and has one color for different parts of Spain. It is thus something other than what the Norwegian authorities do. So even though the whole of Sweden is orange on EU risk map , this does not mean that the whole of Sweden will receive quarantine requirements from Monday.
Are there exceptions for the vaccinated? Yes, what applies when you have one dose, two doses or have had corona, you will find out helsenorge.no .
