Criticized Modi, Case: Pawan Khera kicked out of plane – Congress | Pawan Khera Stopped From Flying | Protests at Delhi Airport

New Delhi ∙ Congress spokesperson Pawan Khera, who was kicked out of a plane for criticizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has been arrested. He was arrested by the Assam Police. Khera was kicked out of the plane when he reached the Delhi airport to go to Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh, to attend the Congress plenary session. The luggage was required to be checked. The Indigo airline said that the travel cannot be allowed due to the case.

Pawan Khera’s arrest was raised in the Supreme Court by Congress leader and lawyer Abhishek Singhvi. The issue was raised during the arguments in the Shiv Sena case. The Supreme Court will consider this soon.

About fifty Congress leaders protested at the airport against the action against Pawan Khera. It is reported that Khera was released after all the other leaders had boarded the plane. KC Venugopal, General Secretary of Congress Organizational Affairs, said that the action against Khera is without reason. Social media is also full of protests against the arrest.

“A passenger was ejected from the flight from Delhi airport to Raipur by the police. Some other passengers who had boarded the plane also decided to get out. We are following the instructions of the authorities. “We apologize for the delay in the flight and the disruption to the passengers,” IndiGo said in a statement.

The UP Police had registered a case against Pawan Khera on the complaint of insulting Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The basis of the case is the remark made by Gautam Adani during a press conference related to the issue. Instead of Narendra Damodardas Modi, Khera said Narendra Gautamdas.

Khera asked the person sitting nearby whether the name of the Prime Minister was Damodardas or Gautamdas. The reply was Damodardas. Ekhara said that although the name is Damodardas, the work belongs to Gautamdas. The case was registered on the basis of a complaint filed by BJP leaders in Lucknow, who found the remark objectionable.
