Pinangki Sirna Malasari finally officially fired from his profession as a civil servant and prosecutor. The dismissal was carried out after criticism surfaced because the convict in the bribery case had not been expelled from the Adhyaksa Corps.
The criticism was previously made by the Indonesian Anti-Corruption Society (MAKI). MAKI was furious because even though he had been found guilty, Pinangki He is still a prosecutor and has not been fired.
“That until now he has not been removed from his civil servant. Now this should immediately be processed to be dishonorably dismissed. Now, his status is only inactive,” said MAKI Coordinator Boyamin Saiman as copied from Mata Najwa broadcast, Thursday (5/8/2021) .
Because he is still an inactive prosecutor, Pinangki still gets a salary from the state, which is collected from public taxes. Boyamin also regretted the attitude of Attorney General ST Burhanuddin who did not immediately fire Pinangki.
“Still getting a salary from the state is true. It was immediately dismissed with disrespect in order to prevent the state from financing/paying people whose names are corrupt,” asked Boyamin.
The criticism because Pinangki was not fired was also conveyed by various parties. Criticism was also scattered on social media from netizens.
This criticism is not the first time. Previously, critics also bombarded the Attorney General’s Office because Pinangki had not been sent to prison despite being sentenced to 4 years. Pinangki is considered privileged. Moreover, previously, the sentence was circumcised by the Jakarta High Court (PT) from 10 years in prison to only 4 years.
After the criticism surfaced, Pinangki was then executed at the Tangerang Women’s Prison.
AGO Clarification
Bombarded by criticism, the AGO also provides clarification regarding Pinangki who is still receiving salaries. The AGO claims that Pinangki has not received a salary since September 2020.
The AGO also said that Pinangki had been temporarily dismissed from his civil servant position. Because of that, Pinangki no longer a prosecutor.
“We convey that Pinangki Sirna Malasari’s salary has not been received (dismissed) since September 2020, while the performance allowance and meal allowance have also been no longer received by the person concerned (dismissed) since August 2020,” said Kapuspenkum AGO, Leonard Eben Ezer Simanjuntak, in a statement. written, Thursday (5/8/2021).
