Critical reactions continue from the passport to President Yoon Seok-yeol’s congratulatory speech on Liberation Day.

On the 16th, Kim Jong-in, former chairman of the People’s Power Emergency Response Committee, appeared on KBS Radio’s ‘Strongest Current Affairs’ and said, “Who in our country is going to surrender to the North right now?”

President Yoon said in a congratulatory speech on Liberation Day on the 15th, “We must not be deceived or succumbed to communist totalitarian forces, their blind followers and followers.”

Former Chairman Kim said, “I don’t know how many such forces exist in South Korea, but they are probably very few. But I think it’s a bit problematic to generalize them.”

He then pointed out, “The general public is showing a divided appearance, and politics should try in the direction of how to integrate it.

On the 16th, Lee Jun-seok, former representative of People’s Power, said in YTN’s ‘News King Park Ji-hoon’, regarding President Yoon’s congratulatory speech, “Isn’t it a bit too much of a message about Japan as a message on Liberation Day?”

He then pointed out, “I know the main stem of the Yoon government’s Japan-friendly policy, but there is no need to highlight historical issues or things like that again, and I think a message that fits the time and place is important.”
