The national users and clients of Cubana de Aviación vented their anger on social networks against the company that this week announced with “bomb and saucer” the “self-checking” online, when they do not have planes for air connections within the island , nor a website where users within Cuba can buy their tickets online.
“Cubana de Aviación informs that by scanning its QR code you can access more easily and from any mobile device, to carry out its new Web Self-Check service,” they promoted on all their networks. However, the clients “sang” their truths in the comments to the posts.
One user questioned them: “and the planes for when?”, while another insisted that the self-check would be for the buses because they did not have planes. Another Cuban user added that why so much promotion of this if there were no planes.
The company recently suspended its flights to the Isla de la Juventud, with no return date so far, due to technical problems with its planes. The Havana-Gerona route helps the transfer of people between the big island and the one located to the south, now these will only depend on the ferries.
“My God, I better not even think about the anger I have with all the leaders of Cubana. They get traveling the whole year and do not look for a solution so that planes exist here, they have already been five years without flying and it will continue ”, opined another Cuban afflicted by the continuous problems of the airline.
PROBLEMS OF CUBANA DE AVIACIÓN
The ridicule and criticism of Cubana de Aviación continued on social networks after the announcement of this “possibility” of self-checking when they don’t even have planes. Some compared this usefulness with the fact of buying a mirror for a car when you don’t have the car.
“Example of technology! Now we just need to have the planes. We already bought the mirror, now we need the rest of the car. But we have an online check-up,” joked a Cuban.
Another detailed the problem that for domestic flights there is no web option to purchase them online with the Cuban peso currency. Others argued that this process could only be carried out when the lousy Internet in Cuba allows it.
“Why is there no website for buying tickets on domestic flights, it is only available in offices, which makes it difficult to serve the population because it is only available in Holguín and Santiago in the case of Oriente. It is impossible to buy”, pointed out the user Héctor Castillo.
