The announced documentary “Another freedom” on vaccinating children against the coronavirus is causing discussions even before it is released. The trailer for the film has been open to the public since Sunday.
The reasons why the film is being discussed are, on the one hand, the tenor – and, on the other hand, the fact that actor Til Schweiger also has his say. “This virus is for children [sic!] absolutely harmless. And the risk of such a vaccination, which has not been researched, is much higher than the virus [sic!] himself. That’s why I personally think it’s horrific, ”says Schweiger in a short excerpt from the trailer. He does not give any evidence.

“The other bad thing is the change in the law, which has more or less suspended our Basic Law. People are practically being blackmailed or seduced with it – by saying: We will give you some of your basic rights that we cannot take away from us due to our constitution, but then you can travel again, then the children can go to Grandma again without Fear, ”said Schweiger. He ends the sequence with a deep sigh and a blank look.
At the beginning of the trailer you can see a young man who says: “I just want it to be over – and that’s why I get vaccinated.” Many black and white pictures are lined up.
Then a doctor has his say. He says he would recommend parents to vaccinate their children, but would educate them beforehand about anything that could happen. He could not guarantee that there were no side effects of the vaccination. He would recommend the vaccination precisely because children are only allowed to participate in social life without restriction if they are vaccinated.
In addition to Schweiger, two actresses have their say. “I’m not ready to make my child available for this experiment,” says Nina Proll.
Miriam Stein asks, referring to an Austrian promotional video, in which people dance to sing “Come on, let’s get vaccinated”: “Why does a vaccination that is effective and protects against a dangerous disease need such an advertising campaign?” If she were sitting on a plane, she wouldn’t need anyone to come to her, dance and sing: “Do you want a parachute or don’t you want one?”
The trailer was already hotly debated on the Internet on Sunday evening. An anesthetist from Essen University Hospital reported that after seven days, his late shift week in the Covid intensive care unit was over. „Hats off to the care team who have been doing an excellent job in an ARDS center for 18 months, while people like Schweiger and Co shoot them in the leg“, Explains Steffen Veen.
Scientist Florian Aigner went even further: “It has to be said very hard: Such films cost human lives. Anyone who takes part in such films is guilty. ”What Schweiger and Co. did in the film is not just“ an expression of opinion ”, but“ clear nonsense ”.
