Cristina, 3 years old, has brought joy back to Peñalba de Santiago. For years, one of the considered most beautiful towns in Spain, it did not have children in its streets except in summer periods, vacations or weekends, but the arrival of the marriage formed by Jorge and María, together with their daughter, It has been a glimmer of hope for the recovery of the life of a people.
In October, the couple leased the Aromas del Oza restaurant and moved from Segovia to Peñalba. Since then, because of the pandemic, has not been able to open regularly Nor does it receive the visits of diners that would be expected in a tourist attraction like Peñalba, but the fact is that little Cristina has already won the hearts of the neighbors, as her father relates in this interview.
The family is already made to the idea that, since September, Cristina will have to travel daily to Ponferrada to go to class, but they have not regretted for a moment the step they have taken when settling in Peñalba.
