The latest clash between Manchester United and Liverpool has been intense. Cristiano Ronaldo appeared to have lost his head and kicked Curtis Jones, who was lying on the pitch with the ball next to him.
Despite the Portuguese touching the ball, the Liverpool players were clearly enraged by Ronaldo’s obvious act of aggression and ran in Jones’ defense.
Virgil van Dijk was one of the first to do so: the Reds mainstay attacked Cristiano head-on. The Man United star appeared to lose his temper and falter.
Bruno Fernandes had to come to the rescue and pushed the Dutchman away.
