The mother of Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, captain of the Saudi Al-Nasr football team, denied allegations of problems in the relationship between her son and Georgina Rodriguez.
And Spanish and Portuguese media reports claimed – last month – that the Portuguese striker was tired of his fiancée, and that they might be about to separate.
Georgina, 29, responded by denying the dispute with Ronaldo in a post on social media, saying, “The jealous person invents a rumor and the talkative person spreads it and the idiot believes it.”

And Dolores Aveiro, Ronaldo’s mother, entered the line of the relationship between her son and his fiancee, describing it as impeccable, and describing the allegations as lies, while attending the opening of a store in her hometown of Madeira.
“Everything that spreads lies… every man and woman argue and that’s normal,” Aveiro, 68, told the press covering the event she was invited to in the island’s capital, Funchal.
Cristiano’s mother has already visited her son and his family in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, where they now reside. The trip was in February, shortly after her son and his family had moved into their new home.
Among the allegations broadcast in the Spanish media was what was said on a television social program that Ronaldo was tired of Georgina because of the time she devoted to spending money in a shopping center in Riyadh.
Spanish TikTok influencer Abel Planeles claimed someone told him the couple had a big falling out just before boarding the plane.
Georgina talked about her love for Ronaldo, whom she met in June 2016 after he entered the Gucci store in Madrid where she was working, in the recently released second series of her successful program on the “Netflix” platform entitled ‘I am Georgina’.
In a Spanish television interview prior to the release, Georgina described Ronaldo as “a wonderful father, a wonderful son, a brother, a friend, a partner, a boss and an employee, he is absolutely fantastic.”
And she concluded, “Sometimes we are at home eating and I look at him and think, I feel so lucky that I am the person that he chose to create this wonderful family.”
Ronaldo, 38, and Georgina have lived together in multiple cities since their relationship began, so they moved from Madrid to Turin, then Manchester, and finally Riyadh.
