Cristiano Ronaldo’s Impressive $10 Million Watch Collection: From Iced-Out Rolexes to Custom Tourbillons

Portuguese national hero, sexiest soccer player alive, caring father and one of the greatest soccer legends of all time – there are many ways to describe Cristiano Ronaldo. As you may also know, he is a watch enthusiast with an impressive collection valued at an estimated $10 million, as well as a Jacob & Co brand ambassador.

No collection of this caliber can do without a few models from the Swiss brand with the crown. What began with a Rolex Daytona Ref. 116520 made of stainless steel quickly developed into a passion for more expressive and exclusive timepieces. When you hear the name Rolex GMT-Master II, do you think of a simple, functional sports watch? Cristiano Ronaldo takes a completely different approach with his “Iced out” model made of white gold. The watch is set with 30 carats of white diamonds and is one of the most expensive Rolex watches ever made. It was made entirely in-house by Rolex, with every single gem set by hand.

Individual iced-out special editions of the Rolex GMT-Master are available from around 23,000 euros.

What Makes Cristiano Ronaldo’s $1.5M Jacob & Co. Custom Tourbillon Watch So Special? It is set with 232 baguette-cut white diamonds and 109 black sapphires, totaling 21 carats of gemstones. Not only is the material rare and exceptional, but so is the dial: a miniature version of the Bugatti W16 engine – CR7 owns a $3 million Bugatti itself. At the push of a button, the engine comes to life, with 16 tiny pistons pumping up and down inside. The commemorative watch also proudly bears Cristiano Ronaldo’s “CR7” logo in the center of the skeletonized dial.

One of the most famous and expensive examples in CR7’s impressive watch collection is the Franck Muller Tourbillon invisible-set baguette diamonds. Set with baguette-cut diamonds, this timepiece costs around $2 million. The diamonds have even been set using a technique called serti mysterieux (mysterious setting), where no visible setting can be seen.

What would a collection of large, expressive watches be without a Hublot? Ronaldo’s favorite Hublot watch is the 49mm “Masterpiece” MP-09 Tourbillon Bi-Axis King Gold – a one-off created exclusively for him. It has an 18-carat rose gold case – and of course a diamond-set bezel. Another eye-catcher of this model (besides all the glitter) is the two-axis tourbillon, which is part of the Hublot manufacture caliber with a power reserve of five days. Estimated price: $1 million.

You guessed it: diamonds are Cristiano Ronaldo’s best friend – at least on his wrist. His one-of-a-kind Girard-Perregaux piece, the Planetarium Tri-Axial, features a bezel and bracelet entirely set with precious stones. If that doesn’t take your breath away, then the hand-painted globe and three-axis tourbillon on the dial will at least – not to mention the estimated price tag of around $2 million.
