Currently, the earthquakes that have struck the city of KahramanmaraÅŸ in Turkey and some towns in Syria have generated a total of forty-six thousand people dead and more than two million displaced to cities where the danger is less.
This has led to the generation of multiple solidarity acts both in Turkey and throughout the world in order to provide proper assistance to the victims of the tragedy in the Eurasian nation.
One of these actions was taken by the Portuguese soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo, who has sent a plane loaded with supplies such as tents, food and medical supplies, clothing for the cold, sleeping bags and supplies for babies.
