The scene is already controversial. Tuesday evening, during the defeat of Al-Nassr against Al-Hilal (2-0), Cristiano Ronaldo was guilty of a nasty fault. No doubt frustrated by the turn of events, the Portuguese striker grabbed an opponent by the neck, before throwing him to the ground. We then played the 57th minute and Al-Hilal was already leading 1-0.
As a crowd formed at the place of the fault, the five-time Golden Ball preferred to keep a low profile, discreetly moving away from the scene. The Portuguese striker finally received a simple yellow card, despite the protests of Al-Hilal players, struck with disbelief.
With this defeat, Al-Nassr made the (very) bad operation of the evening. Cristiano Ronaldo’s teammates are relegated to three points behind leaders Al-Ittihad, with one game more contested.
